I'm Fatima :)) I'm a sophomore at Carlson, double majoring in Management Information Systems and Finance, with a minor in Computer Science. I joined AMCC to build stronger connections with the muslim community on campus. Coming from a white dominated middle and high school, I missed that muslim environment. AMCC helped rebuild that for me and gave me an opportunity to do the same for others as well.
As a co-treasurer, I am responsible for maintaining accurate accounts of AMCC’s income and documenting any expenditures incurred, ensuring the organization’s fiscal responsibility. Additionally, I am responsible for completing fund requests applications and creating the organization’s master budget each semester.

I moved to Blaine, MN in December of 2014
I am fluent in English, Urdu, and Pashto.
HENNA
I started putting henna on in 7th grade when my mom refused to do my henna for eid :(( I ended up putting it on myself, and since then I've always done it by myself. With time, I started putting it on for my cousins as well, and now it has become an eid tradition.
With time, I've gotten so much practice, that I believe I can start a henna business ;))
